Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network

First and fore most, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves; my name is Marni Amirault and my colleague is Fred Andersen.  Fred and I have recently been hired by CAAN as the Eastern (me) and Western (Fred) Community-Based Research Facilitators (CBRFs).  We are both very excited to be working with you in the coming months.

Please find attached the call for submissions to our journal – CJACBR.  The deadline for submission has been set for Monday, March 15, 2010.

Also, we would like to call your attention to the current funding opportunities that have become available through CIHR. (See attached)

We would also like people to be mindful of the up-coming deadline for the AIDS 2010 conference in Vienna, Austria.  The deadline for abstract submission is February 10, 2010. For more information, please see the conference website: http://www.aids2010.org/ .
