Cancer Care Nova Scotia's 10th Anniversary Posted: January 13 , 2009 Source: CCNS Cancer Care Nova Scotia's 10th Anniversary Please join us as we mark 10 Years On – ten years of making a difference in the lives of Nova Scotia 's cancer patients and families by enabling quality prevention, care, and leadership in the province's cancer care system. The event will kick-off a year-long celebration to recognize the collective efforts of everyone, including the hard work of stakeholders throughout the province and the impact of the continued support and investment in our cancer system by the government of Nova Scotia. Remarks will be made by: • Dr. Réal Samson, Chair, CCNS Advisory Board and MC of event • The Honourable Karen Casey, Minister of Health • Dr. Shaun MacCormick, District Chief of Staff and Medical Director, Colchester East Hants Health Authority • Ms. Theresa Marie Underhill, Chief Operating Officer, CCNS • Ms. Linda McAlpine, Cancer Patient When: Wednesday, January 21 Time: 11:30 am Where: Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre Victoria General Site Bethune Ballroom, 1276 South Park St. Halifax , NS Details: The event will also be broadcast to all districts via Telehealth.
